2008 Ford Focus- Models & Prices
Ford always makes the Focus in two flavors- a spicy European model with a state-of-the-art chassis and a plain vanilla Focus with a basic design and a far less sophisticated chassis. The 2008 Ford Focus comes in two distinct trim levels- base SE and top line SEL. All the models come with standard front side airbags, curtain side airbags, brakes in a front disc/rear drum arrangement and Automatic Brake System is optional.
The four-door compact small car for the 2008 line-up is designed with new interior and exterior features. Of which the most noteworthy will be Sync that is a joint technology venture between Ford and Microsoft. Another new first for the 2008 Ford Focus is a new LED-based ambient lighting system that illuminates front and rear cup holders and foot wells, with the driver able to select from any of seven colors via a dash-mounted control.
Ford Motor Company has not yet released the pricing for the 2008 Ford Focus models. But according to experts the base SE models should start at about $13,000, with higher versions topping at about $15,000. This is a price range from where SEL models will start, and loaded examples with leather upholstery and Sync should go well above $18,000. But whatever be the price range for the 2008 Ford Focus, its sure that with so many features and amenities, price will not come in the way when you will go to buy one for yourself. The 2008 Focus is all ready to capture the attention of the customers when it hits the streets in fall 2007.
